Our legal information is available to all Victorians. Unfortunately, other services and legal advice are limited to people who need them most. We follow guidelines to try and make our legal help as fair as possible. Prior to this I had clear tape holding it together https://fairgo-australia.net/: which did the job, never had an issue with presenting it at RBTs (prior to digital , licenses). However - I used it for an overseas car hire and an overzealous American rental clerk made a fuss about it and almost rejected my rental. Only because I had used it for another rental in a different location did he begrudgingly accept it - and made a remark that the other clerk who accepted it had violated policy. Anyway - point being it's good to get a replacement for the rare instance when someone kicks up a fuss about it. We want to build a better understanding of what migrant women and their families actually go through on their journeys through pregnancy to parenthood. These are difficult questions to ask and answer. These journeys take place in their homes, in their hearts, within their families , and communities – in Australia and overseas, and within health services alongside their healthcare workers. Many of these stories are intimate, private, and difficult to explain. Project Summary: This project draws from decolonial and interethnic – Black and Indigenous – communitarian feminisms from Latin America to honour and learn from anti-racist, decolonial and feminist healing solidarities, pedagogies and activisms through a scholar-activist collaboration (with Dr Laura Rodriguez Castro from SEAE and Dr Paula Satizábal) with the Red de Mujeres Matamba y Guasá (Women’s Network Matamba and Guasá) in Colombia. This project received funding from the Antipode Foundation.
